Richard Russell

Richard is one of Designscape’s account managers and specializes in landscape overhauls. He has the special ability to come onto a job on day one and provides immediate results. Richard has his BA in Business and has studied undergrad in Horticulture and Agriculture. Richard works in turf management, pruning, planting and transplanting, and is solely responsible for the beginning of Designscape’s fruit and vegetable garden where he grows a variety of tomatoes, squash, strawberries and other edibles.
Richard is an Indiana Accredited Horticulturalist (INLA), and a registered technician for pesticides. Before coming to Designscape he worked for over twenty years as the department supervisor and groundskeeper for the liberal arts college. Richard is a member of New Life Community Church and leads a small group there as well. Along with his love for gardening he enjoys reading, movies, acting, and writing.
