Joe Rainwater
Certified Arborist
Power Equipment Sales/Mechanic 
Joe comes to Designscape as a native of Brown County. He has worked in the company in most every role but currently is the companies head arborist, equipment sales manager, and chief mechanic. He is an internationally certified arborist and is able to diagnose and care for sick and failing trees as well as remove them skillfully in tough access spots. As a student at IU he earned his degree in CAD/CAM design and also worked as a programmer and operator for mills or lathes machines. With a variety of landscaping tools and machines he works as the grease for the company along with his father Darrell, doing mechanical repairs for Designscape large fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Joe is a continuous student and enjoys learning about and mastering different hobbies. He is a member of Central Indiana High Powered Rifleman’s Association and earned highest civilian non distinguished rifleman badge (#1947) in 2009 (History). He also really enjoys muscle cars and has rebuilt his 1966 Mustang twice since he first got in at the age of 16. Joe works on the DHS Mission Team and is an elder at New Life Community Church where he attends with his wife Kristy and six children.
