Darrell Rainwater
Power Equipment Sales/Mechanic
Darrell is another native of Brown County. He works at Designscape repairing and selling power equipment. The last of the Rainwater’s to join the Designscape team, his wife and three sons have all worked in different roles in the company. He now works with his oldest son Joe maintaining and repairing the sales line of equipment and the DHS fleet of equipment.
Darrell spent 13 years working at the Cummins Engine Heavy Duty Plant in Columbus where he fine tuned a large amount of mechanical and problem solving skills he uses at Designscape today. He studied algebra and metric measuring at Ivy Tech and is a certified mechanic for DHS Scag Mowers trained on Briggs&Stratton and Kawasaki Engine repair. He loves wood working and worked as a carpenter building cabinets. He enjoys working on mustangs and taking long drives with his wife Viki. He is a member of New Life Community Church and also works helping Viki at Ashalyn Knoll senior living home serving the role of “maintenance man”.
