Garden Columnist
Bob hails from Taylorsville, Kentucky and is a valued part of Designscape’s Consultation and Design team. A seasoned designer at DHS, he has found a niche in the horticultural community with his unique approach to design. His eloquence was sharpened at IU where he graduated with a BA in Journalism and Geography. He has lived and travelled extensively in Europe and speaks German and Swedish.
Bob enjoys singing and acting and has performed with such groups as Monroe County Civic Theater and Cardinal Stage Company. He is a tenor in the Chancel Choir at Trinity Episcopal CHurch. He is a Bronze Level Advanced Purdue Master Gardener, a Master’s Accredited Indiana Horticulturalist, a garden columnist writing, “Outdoors, By Design” for the Bloomington Herald-Times. In 2008 he received an award of merit from the Perennial Plant Association.
